The vision of the Government of Rwanda is to guarantee the well being of the population by ensuring substantial and sustainable economic growth and the reduction of poverty in the context of good governance. In health, the vision is to guarantee the economic well being of the population and poverty reduction in the framework of good quality health. To achieve this objective, the Government of Rwanda exerts necessary efforts in order to improve the availability, countrywide of qualified professionals in health, in particular in rural areas.
