The National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MoH) with the technical support of ICF-MACRO is implementing the Fifth Rwandan Demographic and Health Survey (RDHS-V).

Among other activities being conducted, it includes the process of Listing and Mapping that started on 06th July 2014 and that is currently running countrywide. Their completion is scheduled by the end of September 2014.

On 25th August 2014, the pretest training intended for 34 team leaders including 17 Controllers and 17 Supervisors has been conducted in Musanze district, and it is scheduled to end on 22nd September 2014.

The training will have three weeks for theoretical activities, mainly focusing on questionnaires (Household questionnaires, Men questionnaires and Women questionnaires) and one week of the Field Practice.

The Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) Program assists developing countries worldwide in the collection and use of data to monitor and evaluate population, health, and nutrition programs.
