The 2014-15 Rwanda Demographic and Health Survey (RDHS5) is the fifth in a series of demographic and health datasources conducted in Rwanda as part of the global Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) Program, designed to provide up-to-date information on fertility and childhood;  mortality levels; fertility preferences;  use of family planning methods;   maternal and child health;     knowledge and attitudes toward HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections (STI);   and  prevalence of HIV  among  the  adult  population.  These  information  are  essential  for  making informed policy decisions  and for  planning,  monitoring,  and evaluating    existing programs related to health in general, and reproductive health in particular, at both the national and regional levels.

Demographic and Health Survey type has been used to monitor vaccination coverage which represents the percentage of people in Rwanda who have received all the vaccines recommended for their age.

Demographic and Health Survey 2014/2015 - Final report
