Mr SIBOMANA Oscar

Mr. SIBOMANA Oscar is the Acting Director of the Economic Statistics Unit at the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR), a role he assumed in July 2024. 

He has over 19 years of experience in statistical production and has held various positions at NISR, including Team Leader in charge of Industry and Infrastructure Statistics.

Earlier in his career, he served as Principal Research Statistician in charge of price statistics (2011–2014), and as a Statistician in charge of producer price index (2006–2010). He oversaw its data collection, analysis, and publication.

He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Annamalai University, India, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Rwanda.
