Mr MUKASA Jimmy
Mr. Jimmy MUKASA is the Director of the ICT Unit at the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR), a position he has held since October 2014. In addition to overseeing corporate ICT operations, he leads data processing and GIS components within the statistical production pipeline.
Prior to joining NISR, he served as Director of the ICT Unit at the Rwanda Housing Authority. Mr. MUKASA brings a blend of managerial and technical expertise gained through extensive experience in both the public and private sectors.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from the University of Madras and has earned over a dozen international ICT certifications, including Cisco, Microsoft, and CompTIA credentials. He also pursued coursework in the MSIT program at Carnegie Mellon University Africa.
