The winners of NISR Infographic Competition, 2014
On 26th November 2014, at Lemigo Hotel, a team called "IMPRESSIVE" which was composed of three students from the Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Rwanda won first place at the 2014 edition of Infographic Competition hosted by the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR). Each team member received a laptop.

Every year in November, the African statistical community celebrates the African Statistics Day (ASD) with the objective of raising public awareness about the importance of statistics in the economic and social development of the continent. The decision of celebrating ASD every year was taken since 1990 by the twenty-fifth session of the United Nations Economic for Africa and the Sixteenth Meeting of African ministers responsible for Economic Planning and development.
