The Integrated Business Enterprise Survey in Rwanda (IBES) is a comprehensive annual enterprise survey undertaken to collect, compile, and analyze data on the level and structure of non-agricultural economic activity in the country for both informal and formal sectors, with the formal sector defined as those businesses registered with the Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) and that keeps regular business accounts. The formal sector also includes companies that have 30 or more employees. This report presents the results of which data has been collected by the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) from 20^th May up to 30^th August 2019 with the year 2018 (January-December) being the reference period.
