The Rwanda Labour Force Survey (LFS) program systematically gathers data pertaining to the employment and labor underutilization characteristics of the population on a quarterly basis since 2019 and it has been instrumental in providing precise quarterly estimates of key labor force aggregates at the national level. The Quarterly Labour Force Survey aligns with international standards and caters to the specific data requirements of principal stakeholders, namely the Ministry of Public Service and Labour (MIFOTRA), the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the World Bank, and other statistical users.

This report presents the results from the Labour Force Survey conducted during the fourth quarter (Q4) of the year 2023. The data collection for this survey was conducted between the 1st and 30th of November 2023, encompassing all districts of Rwanda and employing the methodology of Computer-Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI).
