Rwanda's CPI is 0.1 pct year on year in November 2018
Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation increased by 0.1 percent year on year in November 2018 up from -0.6 percent in October 2018.
In November 2018, ‘Housing water, electricity, gas and other fuels increased by 3.0 percent on annual change and decreased by 1.2 percent on monthly basis. Transport increased by 9.7 percent on annual change and 0.9 percent on monthly change.
The data also show the “local goods” decreased by 0.9 percent on annual change and 0.8 percent on monthly basis, while prices of the “imported products” increased by 3.3 percent on annual basis and 0.5 percent on monthly basis.
The prices of the “Energy” increased by 8.8 percent on annual change and decreased by 2.1 percent on monthly basis.
The prices of the “fresh products” decreased by 8.4 percent on annual change and 3.0 percent on monthly basis.
