Rwanda's CPI up 3.0pct year on year in August 2015
In August 2015,‘Food and non-alcoholic beverages’,‘Alcoholic beverages , tobacco and narcotics’‘Housing water, electricity, gas and other fuels’, and ‘Transport’ rose by3.2 percent,9.9 percent,4.5 percent, and 2.0respectively.
The data also show the “local goods” increased by 3.1percent on annual change andincreased by 1.2 percenton a monthly basis, while prices of the “imported products” increased by 3.0 percent on annual basis andincreased by 0.3 percent on a monthly basis.
The prices of the “fresh products” increased by5.1percent on annual change and increased by 5.0 on a monthly basis.
