Rwanda’s general Producer Price Index combining both prices for local and export products registered an annual increase of 13.9 percent in October 2022, Local PPI increased by 10.2 percent in October 2022, and Export PPI increased by 24.3 percent in October 2022.
Producer Price Index Report - May 2022
Rwanda’s general Producer Price Index combining both prices for local and export products registered an annual increase of 21.2 percent in May 2022. Monthly general PPI increased by 6.5 percent. Local PPI increased by 20.9 percent in May 2022, and Export PPI increased by 22.9 percent in May 2022.
Producer Price Index Report (Fourth Quarter 2018)
Rwanda’s general producer price index, combining both prices for local and export products registered an annual decrease of 0.52 percent in the fourth quarter of 2018 compared with the same period of 2017, while on quarterly basis it increased by 0.94 percent compared with the third quarter 2017. The main drivers for these changes were manufacturing, mining and quarrying.

Rwanda’s general producer price index, combining both prices for local and export products registered an annual decrease of 1.54 percent in the third quarter of 2018 compared with the same period of 2018, while on quarterly basis it decreased by 0.49 percent compared with the second quarter 2018.

Rwanda’s general producer price index, combining both prices for local and export products registered an annual growth of -0.07 percent in the second quarter of 2018 compared with the same period of 2017, while on quarterly basis it decreased by 0.38 percent compared with the first quarter.

Rwanda’s general producer price index, combining both prices for local and export products registered an annual growth of 0.27 percent in the first quarter of 2018 compared with the same period of 2017, while on quarterly basis it decreased by 0.58 percent compared with the fourth quarter 2017.

The general index for the fourth quarter 2014 registered an increase of 0.96 percent compared to the index of the previous quarter (third quarter 2014) and a increase of 0.45 percent compared to the index of the fourth quarter of the year 2013.

The general index for the third quarter 2014 registered an increase of 0.65 percent compared to the index of the previous quarter (second quarter 2014) and a decrease of 0.61 percent compared to the index of the third quarter of the year 2013.

The general index for the second quarter 2014 registered a decrease of 1.93 percent compared to the index of the previous quarter (first quarter 2014) and a decrease of 0.19 percent compared to the index of the second quarter of the year 2013.

The index for the first quarter 2014 registered a decrease of 0.22 percent compared to the index of the previous quarter (fourth quarter 2013) and an increase of 0.94 percent compared to the index of the first quarter of the year 2013.
