In the fourth quarter of 2022, Rwanda’s total trade was US$ 2,021.12 million, an increase of 35 percent over the fourth quarter of 2021. Domestic exports were US$ 373.39 million; imports were US$ 1,493.34 million and re-exports were US$ 154.39 million.

Official formal trade in goods data reveal that in the third quarter of 2015, Rwanda’s total trade of US$ 623.25 million, higher by 0.3 percent over the third quarter of 2014 was made up of exports worth of US$ 96.14 million, imports worth of US$ 481.10 million and re-exports valued at US$ 46.01 million.

Official formal trade in goods data reveal that in the second quarter of 2015, Rwanda’s total trade of US$ 614.88 million, higher by 3 percent over the second quarter of 2014 was made up of exports worth of US$ 94.82 million, imports worth of US$ 470.60 million and re-exports valued at US$ 49.46 million.

In the first quarter of 2015, Rwanda’s total trade reached up US$ 572.38 million. This is 0.13% higher than the same quarter in 2014. In addition, official data show that imports decreased by 1.75% over the same quarter of 2014 and exports increased by 10.22% when comparing to the same quarter of 2014.
The total value of Exports is US$ 101.90 million, the total value of Imports is US$ 432.61 million while the total value of re-exports is US$ 37.87 million.

In the year ending December 2014, Rwanda’s total trade of US$ 2,370.21 million, higher by 4% compared to the year 2013 (US$ 2,276.45 million), was made up of exports worth US$ 452.82 million, imports bill valued at US$ 1,718.41 million and re-exports worth of US$ 198.99 million.
