The National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) has received funds from NSDS Basket Fund support to NISR towards the cost of maintenance and repairing service of vehicles used by NISR for the period of two (2) years starting from the date of contract signed by the two contracting parties.

A company will be selected under the procedures described in the Tender Document. The bids will remain valid for 120 dats starting from the deadline for their submission

A tripartite agreement has been signed between the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB), the Ministry of Local Government (MINALOC) and the National Institute of Statistics (NISR) to join hands in gathering data on service delivery and social welfare.

The African Statistics Day of every November 18th was adopted in May 1990 by the Twenty-fifth Session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the Sixteenth Meeting of the African Ministers responsible for Economic Planning and Development to be celebrated each year with an objective of increasing public awareness about the important role which statistics play in all aspects of social and economic life on our countries and the continent.

Consumer Price Index- September 2012

In September 2012 the All Urban general index is established at 118.0 this stands for an increase of 0.22% over the previous month which was 117.8. In annual change it increased by 5.63% compared to 5.81% in the previous month. This gives a general inflation rate by an annual average of 7.1% during the month of September 2012.
