Sother UYISABYE is a Regional Price and Economic Data Collector Officer who has been employed by NISR since June 1st, 2018. In this role, he is responsible for collecting and analyzing economic data from Huye Districts. As a data collector, he must ensure that the data is accurate, timely, and meets the required standards. This data is used by the government, businesses, and researchers to inform policy decisions, identify trends, and track economic progress.
Before joining NISR regional Price collectors team, Sother worked as a Team Leader in the Rwanda Labor Force Survey (RLFS) field data collection from 2016. This experience gave him valuable skills and knowledge in data collection and analysis, which he has applied in his current role. As a Team Leader, he was responsible for managing a team of data collectors and ensuring that they followed proper data collection procedures.
Sother holds a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Rwanda. This degree program provided him with a strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis. With this educational background and work experience, Sother has the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in his role as a Regional Price and Economic Data Collector Officer at NISR.
