The National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda in collaboration with Paris 21 organized a five days training on Gender Statistics.
The training is dedicated to 30 journalists from different media houses in Rwanda.
When opening the training on behalf of NISR Management, Mrs. Kayitesi Claudette, Training center manager at NISR salutes the good partnership with Paris 21 and wishes a fruitful outcome of the training.
From 18th to 20th May 2022, NISR hosted a 3 days regional statistical leadership training for Heads of National Statistical Offices (NSO). Leaders from over 25 NSOs attended this relevant training, with a focus to unlock the participants’ potential to be effective in leaders for statistics development. “Leadership is a continuous process” said Yusuf Murangwa Director General of the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda, in his opening remarks.

In a bid to drive the popularity of table tennis in Rwanda, the Rwanda Table Tennis Federation (RTTF)-led by its President, John Bosco Birungi has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) on Wednesday, 18 December 2019.
According to the MoU, the federation will provide equipment and training to NISR while the Institute will act as springboard of attracting other government agencies to the progamme.
