Rwanda's CPI up 0.7 pct year on year in November 2014
Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation has risen 0.7 percent year on year in November 2014, up from 0.5 percent in October 2014.
In November 2014, “housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels” and “Education” rose by 2.9 and 7.4 percent year on year, respectively.
The data also show the “local goods” increased by 0.5 percent on annual change and it decreased by 0.6 percent on a monthly basis, while prices of the “imported products” increased by 1.3 percent on annual change with a monthly change of -1.0 percent.
The prices of the “fresh products” had a negative annual change of 8.5 percent between November 2014 and November 2013.
