Rwanda's GDP expands 7 pct in 2014

Rwanda's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current market prices in 2014 was estimated to be Rwf 5,389 billion.

Estimates calculated in 2011 prices shows that GDP was 7 percent higher in real terms compared to 2013.

In 2014, “Agriculture sector” grew by 5 percent while the “industry sector” grew by 6 percent and Service sector” increased by 9 percent.

The GDP per capita in 2014 is estimated at 718 USD.
