This section covers the economic situation in agriculture and environment and it presents the main economic and agricultural with environmental statistics at national level. Agricultural statistics are generated from the census of agriculture (which in some countries includes aquaculture and fisheries) and the agricultural surveys subsystem. The latter are exemplified by crops and livestock surveys, survey of prices paid and prices received by farmers, individual commodity cost of production studies/surveys and, in some cases aquaculture and fisheries surveys
