GDP - National Accounts (Third Quarter 2015)

In the third quarter of 2015, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current market prices was estimated to be Rwf 1,520 billion.

Rwanda's GDP up by 7.6 pct in Q1, 2015

Rwanda's gross domestic product (GDP) rose by 7.6 percent for in the first quarter of 2015, compared with the same quarter of the previous year and it totalled Rwf 1,377 billion Rwandan Francs.


Rwanda's re-exports increased by 40.4 pct in 2014

Rwanda total trade increased by 4% compared to 2013. The imports increased by 3.9%, exports decreased by 2.41% while re-exports increased by 40.4%.


Rwanda's GDP expands 7 pct in 2014

Rwanda's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current market prices in  2014 was estimated to be Rwf 5,389 billion.


Rwanda's GDP increased by 7.8 pct in Q3, 2014

In the third quarter of 2014, GDP at current market prices was estimated to be Rwf 1,393 billion, up from Rwf 1,233 billion in the same quarter of 2013.


Quarterly Gross Domestic Product reported

The National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda, NISR, leased a 2014 GDP first quarter this  Tuesday 23rd during a press conference in  Ministry  of Finance and Economic Planning.

Rwanda's gross domestic product (GDP) in real terms was estimated to have increased by 3.9 percent between the third quarter of 2012 and the third quarter of 2013.

Rwanda's trade balance recorded a deficit with a total trade of US$ 631.7 million which was made up of imports of US$ 380.1 million, exports of US$ 220.4 million, and re-exports of US$ 31.2 million during the second quarter of 2013.

Access to improved sanitation facilities increased in past five years in Rwanda

The percentage of households with access to improved sanitation has increased considerably over the past five years in Rwanda, from 59% to 75%, according to the latest Integrated Household Living Conditions Survey (EICV, 3).

Rwanda to conduct the 4th Integrated Household Living Conditions Survey

Rwanda is to conduct the fourth Integrated Household Living Conditions Survey (EICV 4) that is slated to start in May this year.
