GDP National Accounts (Fourth Quarter 2024)
In quarter four of 2024, GDP at current market prices was estimated at Frw 4,972 billion, up from Frw 4,500 billion in the same quarter of 2023. In this quarter, services contributed 49% to GDP, agriculture contributed 24% while industry contributed 20%. The remainder 7% was attributed to taxes less subsidies on products.

In 2024, GDP at current market prices was estimated at Frw 18,785 billion, up from Frw 16,626 billion in 2023. Services contributed 48 percent to GDP, agriculture contributed 25% while industry contributed 21%. The remainder 7% was attributed to taxes less subsidies on products.
Consumer Price Index (CPI) - February 2025
Urban CPI increased by 6.3 percent on annual basis (February 2025 compared to February 2024) and it increased by 0.7 percent on monthly basis (February 2025 to January 2025). The annual average inflation rate between February 2025 and February 2024 was 5.1 percent.
RPHC5 Thematic Report: Post Enumeration Survey
The Post Enumeration Survey (PES2022) was conducted from 10th to 30th September 2022 with the objective to evaluate the coverage and content errors of the 2022 Population and Housing Census (RPHC2022) data that were conducted in August 2022. The use of modern techniques and tools based on Data Science drastically shortened the timeline for obtaining matching results, three weeks compared to six months in PES2012 that used traditional methods for matching process.
Index of Industrial Production (January - 2025)
In January 2025, the industrial output (formal sector) increased by 7.9 percent compared to January 2024, against an increase of 9.4 percent on annual average basis.
Producer Price Index Report, January 2025
Rwanda’s general Producer Price Index combining both prices for local and export products registered an annual increase of 0.6 percent in January 2025, Local PPI decreased by 1.7 percent in January 2025, and Export PPI increased by 5.5 percent in January 2025.

The 2022 RPHC is the most important project for the NSDS3 and was in line with National development efforts to develop official statistics and a dynamic evidence based for policy decisions. The Census results provide updated demographic, social and economic indicators for policy formulation and planning to support the national development agenda.
