RPHC5 Thematic Report: Post Enumeration Survey
The Post Enumeration Survey (PES2022) was conducted from 10th to 30th September 2022 with the objective to evaluate the coverage and content errors of the 2022 Population and Housing Census (RPHC2022) data that were conducted in August 2022. The use of modern techniques and tools based on Data Science drastically shortened the timeline for obtaining matching results, three weeks compared to six months in PES2012 that used traditional methods for matching process.
Rwanda Subnational Population Projections by Districts (2023–2032)
The Government of Rwanda through NISR conducted the 5th Rwanda Population and Housing Census (RPHC-5) from 16-30 August ,2022. The 2022 RPHC is the most important project for the NSDS3 and was in line with National development efforts to develop official statistics and a dynamic evidence based for policy decisions. The Census results provide updated demographic, social and economic indicators for policy formulation and planning to support the national development agenda.

The 2019/2020 Imihigo evaluation report is the third of its kind since the Government of Rwanda started implementing the National Strategy for Transformation (NST-1) and the third produced by the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR). Imihigo are a home-grown solution and a tool for accessing progress towards national development aspirations.

The 2019/2020 Imihigo evaluation report is the third of its kind since the Government of Rwanda started implementing the National Strategy for Transformation (NST-1) and the third produced by the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR).

They are commitments made between His Excellency the President of the Republic of Rwanda and the Ministries/Boards and Districts. The extent to which Imihigo are implemented is evaluated every year.

The study also includes a trend analysis in child poverty based on evidence from DHS 2014/15 and DHS 2019/20.

Consumer Price Index (CPI) - August 2022
Urban CPI increased by 15.9 percent on annual basis (August 2022 and August 2021) and increased by 0.5 percent on monthly basis (August 2022 to July 2022). The annual average inflation rate between August 2022 and August 2021 was 7.3 percent.
Formal external trade in Goods report (August 2022)
The deficit in the balance of formal trade in goods was US$ 304.66 million in August 2022, an increase of 0.40 per cent compared to the previous month of July 2022. Year-over-year, the formal trade in goods deficit increased by 69.77 per cent on the deficit of August 2021.
