The Labour Force Survey (LFS) programme collect data on employment and labour underutilization characteristics of the population on a continuous basis, providing quarterly estimates of the main labour force aggregates with sufficient precision at the National level since 2016.
Consumer Price Index - July 2023
Urban CPI increased by 11.9 percent on annual basis (July 2023 and July 2022) and was stable on monthly basis (July 2023 to June 2023). The annual average inflation rate between July 2023 and July 2022 was 17.8 percent.
Index of Industrial Production (June-2023)
In June 2023, the industrial output (formal sector) increased by 4.8 percent compared to June 2022, against an increase of 9.4 percent on annual average basis.

The DHS6 has been implemented by NISR, RBC with the support of Government of Rwanda and its partners institutions such USAID, UN Agencies and others
The DHS6 has been conducted countrywide in 500 villages(clusters) where interviews were conducted in 12949 households, on 14634 women and 6513 men.
The prevalence of HIV in Rwanda is 2.7% in adults people 15 to 49 years
Producer Price Index Report - June 2023
Rwanda’s general Producer Price Index combining both prices for local and export products registered an annual increase of 12.3 percent in June 2023, Local PPI increased by 10.4 percent in June 2023, and Export PPI increased by 18.2 percent in June 2023.
Formal external trade in Goods report (June 2023)
The deficit in the balance of formal trade in goods was US$ 288.74 million in June 2023, a decrease of 12.20 per cent compared to the previous month of May. Year-over-year, the formal trade in goods deficit decreased by 1.28 per cent on the deficit of June 2022.

In the first quarter of 2023, Rwanda’s total trade was US$ 2,047.02 million, an increase of 38 percent over the first quarter of 2022. Domestic exports were US$ 4,23.89 million; imports were US$ 1,466.90 million and re-exports were US$ 156.23 million.
