In 2018, GDP at current market prices was estimated to be Frw 8,189 billion, up from Frw 7,600 billion in 2017.Estimates calculated in 2014 prices shows that GDP was 8.6 percent higher in real terms compared to 2017.

In Q4 2018,GDP at current prices was estimated to be 2,137 Billion Frw, up from 1,985 in Q4 2017. Estimates calculated in 2014 prices show that GDP growth was 9.6 % which is higher in real terms compared to Q4 2017.
Consumer Price Index (CPI) - February 2019
Urban CPI increased by 0.8 percent on annual basis and increased by 0.3 percent on monthly basis. The annual average rate between February 2019 and February 2018 was 1.3 percent.

Urban CPI increased by 1.0 percent on annual basis and stable on monthly basis. The annual average rate between January 2018 and January 2019 was 1.3 percent.
Seasonal Agricultural Survey - 2018_Annual Report
National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) conducted the 2018 Seasonal Agricultural Survey (SAS) covering all three agricultural seasons of Rwanda. Field work was scheduled as follows: Season A, from 10th December 2017 to 30th January 2018; Season B, from 29th April to 19th July 2018; and Season C, from 4th to 24th September 2018. Data collection was done in 780 segments and 222 large scale farmers holdings.
Consumer Price Index (CPI) -December 2018
Urban CPI increased by 1.1 percent on annual basis and decreased by 0.2 percent on monthly basis. The annual average rate between December 2018 and December 2017 was 1.4 percent.
Formal External Trade in Goods Statistics report (Q3, 2018)
In the third quarter of 2018, Rwanda’s total trade amounted to US$ 1,004.32 million, a decrease of 6.98 percent over the third quarter of 2017. Exports totaled US$ 179.73 million, imports totaled US$ 738.97 million and re-exports were valued at US$ 85.61 million.

Formal external trade in Goods report (November 2018)
The deficit in the balance of formal trade in goods was US$ 231.75 million in November 2018, an increase of 33.97 per cent compared to the previous month of October 2018. Year-over-year, the formal trade in goods deficit increased by 55.47 per cent on the deficit of November 2017.

The deficit in the balance of formal trade in goods was US$ 172.99 million in October 2018, an increase of 17.01 per cent compared to the previous month of September 2018. Year-over-year, the formal trade in goods deficit increased by 7.81 per cent on the deficit of October 2017.
