Consumer Price Index (CPI) - December 2016
Rwanda's urban CPI increased by 7.3 percent on annual basis and increased by 0.3 percent on a monthly basis. The annual average rate between December 2016 and December 2015 is 5.7 percent.
Formal external trade in Goods report (November 2016)
The deficit in the balance of formal trade in goods was US$ 86.40 million in November 2016, an increase of 14.79 per cent compared to the previous month of October 2016. Year-over-year, the formal trade in goods deficit decreased by 22.88 per cent on the deficit of November 2015.
GDP - National Accounts (Third Quarter 2016)
In the third quarter of 2016, GDP at current market prices was estimated to be Rwf 1,662 billion, up from Rwf 1,506 billion in the same quarter of 2015. Estimates calculated in 2011 prices shows that GDP was 5.2 percent higher in real terms compared to the same quarter of 2015.
"Agriculture sector" grew by 1 percent, "Industry sector"increased by 7 percent and "Service sector" increased by 6 percent.
Formal External Trade in Goods Statistics report (Q3, 2016)
Rwanda’s total trade amounted to US$ 603.44 million, lower by 5.92 per cent over the third quarter of 2015 was made up Exports worth of US$ 112.54 million, imports of US$ 439.39 million and re-exports valued at US$ 51.52 million.
Seasonal Agricultural Survey Report - 2016
The National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) conducts the annual Seasonal Agricultural Surveys (SAS) covering all three agricultural Seasons in Rwanda: Season A that starts in September and ends with February of the following year; Season B that starts in March and ends with June of the same year; and Season C that starts in July and ends in September of the same year.

The comprehensive assessment of Rwanda Civil Registration and Vital Statitics (CRVS) is a direct response to the declaration of the Second Conference of African Ministers Responsible for Civil Registration in September 2012. The Conference urged all African countries to undertake in-depth assessment of the state of their national civil registration systems and develop a strategic and action plans for improving CRVS.

The general index for the third quarter 2016 registered an increase of 3.78 percent compared to the index of the third quarter of the year 2015, and an increase of 3.29 percent compared to the index of the previous quarter (second quarter 2016).
