Formal External Trade in Goods Statistics report (Q2, 2015)
Official formal trade in goods data reveal that in the second quarter of 2015, Rwanda’s total trade of US$ 614.88 million, higher by 3 percent over the second quarter of 2014 was made up of exports worth of US$ 94.82 million, imports worth of US$ 470.60 million and re-exports valued at US$ 49.46 million.
GDP - National Accounts (Fiscal Year 2014/15)
In the fiscal year 2014-15, GDP at current market prices was estimated to be Rwf 5,580 billion, up from Rwf 5,137 billion in the previous year 2013-14. The Services sector contributed 47 percent of GDP while the agriculture sector contributed 33 percent of the GDP. The industry sector contributed 14 percent of GDP, and 5 percent was attributed to adjustment for taxes less subsidies on products.

The 2013/14 EICV is a follow-up to the 2000/01, 2005/06 and 2010/11 EICV surveys. Each survey provides information on monetary poverty measured in consumption expenditure terms, but also provides complementary socio-economic information that facilitates understanding changes in households living conditions.
The 2013/14 EICV was implemented by the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR), in collaboration with different stakeholders in the country.

In the first quarter of 2015, Rwanda’s total trade reached up US$ 572.38 million. This is 0.13% higher than the same quarter in 2014. In addition, official data show that imports decreased by 1.75% over the same quarter of 2014 and exports increased by 10.22% when comparing to the same quarter of 2014.
The total value of Exports is US$ 101.90 million, the total value of Imports is US$ 432.61 million while the total value of re-exports is US$ 37.87 million.

In the year ending December 2014, Rwanda’s total trade of US$ 2,370.21 million, higher by 4% compared to the year 2013 (US$ 2,276.45 million), was made up of exports worth US$ 452.82 million, imports bill valued at US$ 1,718.41 million and re-exports worth of US$ 198.99 million.
GDP - National Accounts, 2014
In 2014, GDP at current market prices was estimated to be Rwf 5,389 billion, up from Rwf 4,864 billion in 2013, estimates calculated in 2011 prices shows that GDP was 7 percent higher in real terms compared to 2013.
Producer Price Index Report (Fourth Quarter 2014)
The general index for the fourth quarter 2014 registered an increase of 0.96 percent compared to the index of the previous quarter (third quarter 2014) and a increase of 0.45 percent compared to the index of the fourth quarter of the year 2013.
National Gender Statistics report 2014
The National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) in collaboration with the Gender Monitoring Office (GMO) and UN Women through ONE UN/ Delivering as One (DaO), has embarked on establishing and strengthening a comprehensive Gender Statistics Framework (GSF) resulting in Gender Statistics Report that reflects the status of gender equality in key development sectors in 2014.
