Formal external trade in Goods report (April 2016)
The deficit in the balance of formal trade in goods was US$ 124.52 million in April 2016, an increase of (+) 9.35 percent compared to the previous month of March 2016. Year-over-year, the formal trade in goods deficit increased by 43.39 percent on the deficit of April 2015.

In March 2016, a deficit in balance of the formal trade in goods increased by 6.29 percent comparing to February 2016 and increased also by 0.70 percent when comparing to March 2015 since in March 2016, Domestic exports stood at US$ 34.52 million, re-exports valued at US$ 16.21 million and Imports were valued at US$ 164.62 million.

In February 2016, a deficit in balance of the formal trade in goods increased by 2.60 percent comparing to January 2016 and increased also by 13.92 percent when comparing to February 2015 since in February 2016, Domestic exports stood at US$ 27.53 million, re-exports valued at US$ 14.53 million and Imports were valued at US$ 149.19 million.

In January 2016, a deficit in balance of the formal trade in goods decreased by (-) 2.54 percent comparing to December 2015 while it has increased by 20.28 percent when comparing to January 2015 since in January 2016, Domestic exports stood at US$ 29.71 million, re-exports valued at US$ 10.23 million and Imports were valued at US$ 144.36 million.
