During the first three months of the year 2007, the Producer Price Index of the products manufactured for local sales which stood at 123.2 in December 2006 rose to reach at 126.1 in March 2007 following an increase of (+2.5%) and(+0.1% )in January and March respectively and a decline of (-0.2%) in February
For the second quarter of the year 2007 the prices of manufacturing products almost remained unchanged. In June, the Producer Price Index reached at 126.57 after 126.63 and 126.61 attained in May and April respectively, that is a slight decline in June(-0.05%) compared to May, succeeding stagnation between April and Mai and an increase of 0.3% between March and April 2007
In September 2007, the index for products manufactured for sale on local market stood at 128.0, following an increase of 0.7% in July, 0.5% in September and a slight decrease of 0.1% in August.
The general price index for products manufactured for local sales remained unchanged (130.0) in December 2007 when compared to the index registered in the previous month, following two consecutive monthly increases of 0.8% in October and November 2007.
The Producer Price Index for manufacturing products destined to local sales has registered a slight increase of 0.4% in March 2008 compared to February 2008.
