In October 2023, the industrial output (formal sector) increased by 4.3 percent compared to October 2022, against an increase of 4.2 percent on annual average basis.
Activities performed as follows:
- Mining and quarrying decreased by 8.4 percent
- Manufacturing increased by 0.4 percent
- Electricity decreased by 3.3 percent; and
- Water and waste management increased by 5.9 percent.
