The ultimate goal of the Labour Force Survey is to provide data on the structure and trends of labour force, employment, and unemployment as well as other related labour market statistics for the implementation and evaluation of economic and social policies related to employment creation, income generation, skills development, and related decent work policies. These statistics also support the government of Rwanda to track the implementation of Second National Strategy for Transformation (NST2), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as vision 2050.
