Consumer Price Index (CPI) - August 2013

In August 2013 the All Urban general index is established at 122.5 this stands for an increase of 1.17% over the previous month which was 121.1. In annual change it increased by 4.04% compared to 3.52% in the previous month. This gives a general inflation rate by an annual average of 4.3% during the month of August 2013.

Producer Price Index Report (Second Quarter 2013)

The index for the second quarter 2013 registered an increase of  2.91 percent compared to the index of the second quarter of the year 2012.

In July 2013 the All Urban general index is established at 121.1 this stands for a decrease of 0.09% over the previous month which was 121.2. In annual change it increased by 3.52% compared to 3.68% in the previous month. This gives a general inflation rate by an annual average of 4.4% during the month of July 2013.

Formal External Trade in Goods Statistics report (Q2, 2013)

In the second quarter, 2013, Rwanda’s total trade of US$ 631.7 million was made up of imports of US$ 380.1 million, exports of US$ 220.4 million, and re-exports of US$ 31.2 million.On the imports side, Rwanda registered 2.8 percent decrease in current price terms in the second quarter of 2013 compared to the same quarter of 2012.
