EICV 3 - Gasabo District profile
The 2010/11 Integrated Household Living Conditions Survey (EICV 3) is the third in the series of surveys which started in 2000/01 and is designed to monitor poverty and living conditions. The survey fieldwork commenced in November 2010 and continued for one full year. In 2010/11, for the first time the achieved sample size of 14,308 households in the EICV 3 was sufficient to provide estimates which are reliable at the level of the district.
Consumer Price Index (CPI) - December 2015
The Urban CPI increased by 4.5 percent on annual basis and decreased by 0.5 percent on a monthly basis. The annual average rate between December 2015 and December2014 is 2.5 percent.
Formal External Trade in Goods Statistics report (Q3, 2015)
Official formal trade in goods data reveal that in the third quarter of 2015, Rwanda’s total trade of US$ 623.25 million, higher by 0.3 percent over the third quarter of 2014 was made up of exports worth of US$ 96.14 million, imports worth of US$ 481.10 million and re-exports valued at US$ 46.01 million.

As such, this book is designed to serve as a standard summary of statistics on the social, political, and economic situation of Rwanda.
GDP - National Accounts (Third Quarter 2015)
In the third quarter of 2015, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current market prices was estimated to be Rwf 1,520 billion. Estimates calculated in 2011 prices shows that GDP was 6.1 percent higher in real terms compared to the same quarter of 2014.
Agriculture sector” grew by 6 percent and and contributed 1.7 percentage points, “industry sector” grew by 4 percent and and contributed 0.5 percentage points while “Service sector” increased by 7 percent and contributed 3.5 percentage points
Consumer Price Index (CPI) - November 2015
The Urban CPI increased by 4.8 percent on annual basis and increased by 1.1 percent on a monthly basis. The annual average rate between November 2015 and November 2014 is 2.3 percent.
Producer Price Index Report (Third Quarter 2015)
The general index for the third quarter 2015 registered an increase of 2.01 percent compared to the index of the previous quarter (second quarter 2015) and an increase of 0.42 percent compared to the index of the third quarter of the year 2014.
