Consumer Price Index (CPI) - June 2012

In June 2012 the All Urban general index is established at 116.9 this stands for a decrease of 0.71% over the previous month which was 117.8. In annual change it increased by 5.92% compared to 8.32% in the previous month. This gives a general inflation rate by an annual average of 7.5% during the month of June 2012.

Consumer Price Index (CPI) - May 2012

In May 2012 the All Urban general index is established at 117.8 this stands for an increase of 1.41% over the previous month which was 116.1. In annual change it increased by 8.32% compared to 6.95% in the previous month. This gives a general inflation rate by an annual average of 7.5% during the month of May 2012.

Producer Price Index Report (First Quarter 2012)

The index for the first quarter 2012 registered a slight increase of 0.91% compared to the index of the previous quarter (fourth quarter of 2011) and an increase of 6.49% compared to the index of the first quarter of the year 2011.

In April 2012 the All Urban general index is established at 116.1 this stands for an increase of 0.24% over the previous month which was 115.8. In annual change it increased by 6.95% compared to 8.18% in the previous month. This gives a general inflation rate by an annual average of 7.2% during the month of April 2012.

In March 2012 the All Urban general index is established at 115.8 this stands for an increase of 2.21% over the previous month which was 113.3. In annual change it increased by 8.18% compared to 7.85% in the previous month. This gives a general inflation rate by an annual average of 7.0% during the month of March 2012.

National Population Projection (2007-2022)

Population Projections are usually carried out immediately after the release of census results so as to provide annual estimates of future population counts broken down by age and sex. Nonetheless, projections are to be updated whenever new evidences concerning factors of population growth emerge, especially when such evidences are different from the assumptions on which the projection was based.

Gender Statistics : The Public Sector in Rwanda

The National Institute of Statistics (NISR) and the Gender Monitoring Office (GMO) in collaboration with UN Women / UN Delivering as One (DaO) has embarked on establishing a comprehensive Gender Statistics Framework (GSF) for Rwanda which will result in Gender Statistics Publications highlighting the status of gender equality in key development sectors. The aim is to encourage policy debate in particular around gender gaps and discrimination but also to capture good practices by providing evidence.
