Quarterly Formal external trade in Goods reports -2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, Rwanda’s total trade was valued at US$ 2,142.36 million, representing an increase of 10.86% from the third quarter of 2025. Domestic exports were estimated at US$ 375.43 million, imports at US$ 1,543.21 million, and re-exports at US$ 223.72 million.

In the third quarter of 2025, Rwanda’s total trade was valued at US$ 1,932.58 million, representing an increase of 11.33% from the second quarter of 2025. Domestic exports were estimated at US$ 389.99 million, imports at US$ 1,368.93 million, and re-exports at US$ 173.65 million.

In the second quarter of 2025, Rwanda’s total trade was valued at US$ 1,735.84 million, representing a decrease of 13% from the first quarter of 2025. Domestic exports were estimated at US$ 346.04 million, imports at US$ 1,247.39 million, and re-exports at US$ 142.41 million.

In the first quarter of 2025, Rwanda’s total trade was US$ 1,995.26 million, a decrease of 0.99 percent over the first quarter of 2024. Domestic exports were estimated at US$ 480.82 million; imports were estimated at US$ 1,379.05 million and re-exports were estimated at US$ 135.39 million.
