In November 2025, the formal sector industrial output increased by 10.3% compared to November 2024, while the annual average growth rate was 6.3%.
Activities performed as follows:
- Mining and quarrying increased by 4.1%
- Manufacturing increased by 4.9%
- Electricity increased by 14.1%; ands
- Water & waste management increased by 6.6%.
The output of manufacturing activities increased by 4.9%. The increase in manufacturing activities is due to a 1.8 % increase in manufacturing beverages & tobacco, and a 2.6% increase of manufacturing of Chemicals, rubber and plastic products. However, manufacturing of textiles, clothing & leather goods decreased by 7.5%, and Manufacturing of wood and paper; printing decreased by 6.0%.
