Producer Price Index Report,February 2022
Rwanda’s general Producer Price Index combining both prices for local and export products registered an annual increase of 9.5 percent in February 2022. Monthly general PPI increased by 1.8 percent. Local PPI increased by 4.3 percent in February 2022, and Export PPI increased by 26.7 percent in February 2022.
Formal external trade in Goods report (Q4,2021)
In the Fourth quarter of 2021, Rwanda’s total trade was US$ 1497.99 million, an increase of 24 percent over the fourth quarter of 2020. Exports were US$ 310.51 million, imports were US$ 1060.28 million and re-exports were US$ 127.19 million
Establishment Census Report, 2020 - Thematic Report on Gender
The Establishment Census is a valuable source of information on all economic activities by size, formal and informal status of establishments in Rwanda. It provides information that is used to classify establishments according to their size (micro, small, medium, and large) but also formal and informal establishments. The methodology used for data collection and data analysis is quite similar and this helps in comparative analysis with the previous establishment censuses.
GDP National Accounts (Fourth Quarter 2021)
In the fourth quarter of 2021, GDP at current market prices was estimated at Frw 2,931 billion, up from Frw 2,572 billion in the same quarter of 2020. Services continue to lead in terms of shares to GDP with 49 percent compared to 22 percent and 21 percent shares for agriculture and industry respectively. The remainder 8 percent was attributed to adjustment for taxes and subsidies on products.
GDP National Accounts, 2021
In 2021, GDP at current market prices was estimated at Frw 10,944 billion, up from Frw 9,607 billion in 2020. Services sector contributed 48 percent of GDP, Agriculture sector contributed 24 percent of GDP, and Industry sector contributed 20 percent of GDP while 8 percent was attributed to adjustment for taxes less subsidies on products.
Labour Force Survey Annual Report 2021
The annual Labour force Survey is derived from a consolidated or pooled data from four quarters of year. Rwanda redesigned LFS from bi-annual to quarterly basis since February 2019 to provide estimates of labour market indicators and monitor labour market trends on a quarterly basis.

The Labour Force Survey (LFS) programme collect data on employment and labour underutilization characteristics of the population on a continuous basis, providing quarterly estimates of the main labour force aggregates with sufficient precision at the National level since 2016.
