Labour Force Survey Trends-February 2019(Q1)
The focus of the present report has the objective of providing data on the structure and trends of labour force, employment and unemployment as well as other related labour market statistics for the implementation and evaluation of economic and social policies related to employment creation, income generation, skills development, and related decent work policies at the national by selected demographic and socioeconomic characteristics such as sex, age group, educational attainment, occupation and industry.
Consumer Price Index (CPI) - March 2019
Urban CPI increased by 1.1 percent on annual and monthly basis. The annual average rate between March 2019 and March 2018 was 1.4 percent.
Formal external trade in Goods report (January 2019)
The deficit in the balance of formal trade in goods was US$ 155.94 million in January 2019, a decrease of 11.99 per cent compared to the previous month of December 2018. Year-over-year, the formal trade in goods deficit decreased by 1.67 per cent on the deficit of January 2018
GDP National Accounts, 2018
In 2018, GDP at current market prices was estimated to be Frw 8,189 billion, up from Frw 7,600 billion in 2017.Estimates calculated in 2014 prices shows that GDP was 8.6 percent higher in real terms compared to 2017.
GDP National Accounts (Fourth Quarter 2018)
In Q4 2018,GDP at current prices was estimated to be 2,137 Billion Frw, up from 1,985 in Q4 2017. Estimates calculated in 2014 prices show that GDP growth was 9.6 % which is higher in real terms compared to Q4 2017.
Consumer Price Index (CPI) - February 2019
Urban CPI increased by 0.8 percent on annual basis and increased by 0.3 percent on monthly basis. The annual average rate between February 2019 and February 2018 was 1.3 percent.
Producer Price Index Report (Fourth Quarter 2018)
Rwanda’s general producer price index, combining both prices for local and export products registered an annual decrease of 0.52 percent in the fourth quarter of 2018 compared with the same period of 2017, while on quarterly basis it increased by 0.94 percent compared with the third quarter 2017. The main drivers for these changes were manufacturing, mining and quarrying.

Urban CPI increased by 1.0 percent on annual basis and stable on monthly basis. The annual average rate between January 2018 and January 2019 was 1.3 percent.
Formal external trade in Goods report (December 2018)
The deficit in the balance of formal trade in goods was US$ 181.90 million in December 2018, a decrease of 21.51 per cent compared to the previous month of November 2018. Year-over-year, the formal trade in goods deficit increased by 1.44 per cent on the deficit of December 2017.
